An aging Canon AE1 35mm film camera is being used to document our frequent walks through the neighborhood during this pandemic. It is light, nicely retro, and is loaded with Ilford HP5 black and white film. I just received the first two 36-exposure rolls from the developer. Here is a nice overview shot from one afternoon walk.

23 January 2020: I have been working on a mosaic of this shot from November 2019. I included it in a recent portfolio review of my mosaic work by the head of the photo department at an art school in Pasadena. It was a great review, but he was not entirely happy with this one because of the square format. It did not fit well with most of the other images I showed, which had 3:4 or 4:3 aspect ratios.
